Texas DPS investigates fatal 2-vehicle crash on FM 1015

MILA DOCE, TX – According to KRGV, a woman died following a two-vehicle collision at FM 1015 and Mile 11 N Rd Wednesday.

The male driver of a Chevrolet Silverado was driving at excessive speeds on southbound FM 1015 when he collided with a Chrysler Town and Country operated by Sofia Hernandez Perez, 68. Perez had one male passenger.

Rescue crews transported the Silverado driver and the Chrysler’s passenger to an area hospital. They pronounced Perez dead at the scene of the accident.

The incident is under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
