SAN ANTONIO, TX – At least five people were injured, including three children, sustained injuries as the result of a Monday evening collision southwest of downtown.
Police responded to this San Antonio bicycle accident within the 900 block of Cupples Road shortly before 6 p.m.
Investigators believe the 31-year-old female driver of a 2006 Mitsubishi was inattentive to the roadway when she struck a 53-year-old male bicyclist and then a fixed object in the roadway.
Two six-year-olds, a five-year-old, and a fourth male passenger in the Mitsubishi were injured as a result of the crash. The bicyclist also sustained an injury. Details regarding the conditions of those involved remain unknown at this time.
