Airbags deployed in Corpus Christi collision

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — A driver caused damage to their own and another vehicle in Corpus Christi on Friday.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Violet Road and Texas 407 around 11:00am. According to police the driver of a white 2007 Pontiac did not yield the right of way when attempting a left turn. This caused a collision with a blue 2019 Hyundai. Police report that weather was clear at the time of the accident.

Thankfully, police reported no injuries as a result of the collision. However, the airbags in the Hyundai were deployed. Police have not made any further information available at this time.
