Bicyclist struck in Northeast Brownsville crash

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Officers with the Brownsville Police Department have reported an accident involving a bicycle northeast of downtown Tuesday afternoon.

The accident occurred in the 1400 block of East Ringgold Street at about 12:40 p.m. when the 50-year-old male driver of a 2000 Jeep made an unsafe turn into the bicyclist.

Luckily, no injuries were sustained as a result of the collision.
