Driver collides with a firetruck providing aid at accident site

SAN ANTONIO, TX — A driver crashed into a firetruck in San Antonio on Thursday.

The accident occurred around 3am this morning in the 14300 block of Highway 281. According to KSAT, the driver of a Mustang crashed into a firetruck. The firetruck was providing aid to another accident which occurred earlier this morning. The cause of the accident is currently unknown.

Medical services took the driver of the Mustang to the hospital after the crash. He has also been detained at this time. Police have not provided any further information as to the identity or condition of the driver at this time.
