Driver crashes into a police vehicle at intersection in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX — A driver crashed into a police vehicle in San Antonio on Sunday evening. According to NEWS4 San Antonio, the accident took place at the intersection of South Olive Street and Denver Boulevard at around 11 PM.

Police said the driver ran a stop sign, swerved to avoid another vehicle that was in the intersection, and collided with the patrol car, which was standing at the stop sign. The collision did not injure either the police officer or the driver. The officer proceeded to ticket the driver at the scene before letting him go free.
