Hit and run crash injures pedestrian in Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Tuesday.

The accident occurred in the morning on Tuesday on South Ayers Street. According to kiii, an unknown vehicle struck a pedestrian while he was crossing South Ayers Street. A passing bystander found the injured man and stopped to help him. The driver was not at the scene when the victim was discovered.

The injuries the man received in the crash were non life-threatening according to authorities. Police have not provided any information on the injured pedestrian’s condition. The driver involved will face hit and run charges if he is found.
