SAN ANTONIO, TX – According to KSAT, a driver fled the scene after fatally colliding with a bicyclist at Saunders Ave and S Rosillo St Thursday
Ernest Garay, 27, ran a stop sign and hit Manuel Mendoza at around 10 p.m. Authorities claim Garay fled the area without rendering aid to Mendoza.
EMS crews transported Mendoza to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Authorities have charged Garay with failure to stop and render aid resulting in death.
