EDINBURG, TX – Troopers responded to a fatal single-vehicle ATV crash on Mile 17 N Rd Tuesday, according to KRGV.
Ezequiel Alvarez, 18, was driving a Polaris ATV on eastbound Mile 17 N Rd when he drove into a ditch at around 3:53 a.m. Alvarez overcorrected the vehicle, which caused it to roll over.
Emergency crews pronounced Alvarez dead at the scene of the accident.
The incident is under investigation by DPS.
