SAN ANTONIO, TX — An accident involving an 18-wheeler killed a man in San Antonio this morning.

According to KSAT, the accident occurred around six in the morning on Loop 1604, south of Highway 151. The 18-wheeler stood in the road with hazards on. The man drove on Loop 1604, police believe the man was speeding. The man did not notice the stopped 18-wheeler and crashed into the trailer. His car became pinned under the truck bed. Police say he died at the scene.

The accident caused no other injuries to either the driver of the 18-wheeler or any bystanders. Police now believe that the deceased driver was distracted before the accident.
