Man faces weapon and drugs charges after crashing into VIA bus, car

SAN ANTONIO, TX – According to NEWS4, a man was arrested and faces multiple charges after crashing his car into a bus and another car Friday night.

Police say the driver of a silver car crashed into a VIA bus at the intersection of Martin and Navarro around midnight. When he attempted to flee the scene, the driver ran a red light and collided with a car containing two women, T-boning the vehicle.

The suspect, a man in his 20s, had three other passengers in his car, one of whom was injured.

When police arrived, they found ammunition, five guns, and large quantities of narcotics inside the suspect’s vehicle. The man faces multiple drugs and weapon charges. It remains unclear if additional charges will be filed for the crashes.
