LOS FRESNOS, TX – Officers with the Los Fresnos Police Department were called to the scene of an auto vs. semi collision near downtown on Friday, February 12th.
The accident took place shortly before 4 p.m. along State Highway 101.
Responding officers believe the 21-year-old male driver of a 2018 Nissan attempted to pass a 2019 Freightliner when the driver’s side of the Nissan struck the right side of the trailer.
Neither the man responsible for the crash nor the two occupants in the Freightliner, ages 29 and 44, sustained injuries as a result of the crash.
