Police seeking driver of abandoned flaming car

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Police are seeking the driver of an abandoned car that was on fire early Tuesday, according to KSAT.

Police say the accident happened near Ramsgate Street and Stockbridge Lane around 12:15 a.m.

An officer was driving near I-10 and Huebner Road when they spotted a car engulfed in flames. Police said the officer hurried over and broke the windows of the vehicle to make sure no one was inside.

Authorities say the vehicle was abandoned, and the fire was extinguished. The officer was unharmed.

Police are seeking the driver of the vehicle. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
