CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Investigators with the Corpus Christi Police Department are looking into the cause of a rear-end collision involving a semi-truck Wednesday morning.
The accident was reported shortly before 9 a.m. within the intersection of Clemmer Street and Naples Street just south of Del Mar College.
Officials at the scene say the accident occurred when the 64-year-old male driver of a 2014 Chevrolet failed to maintain a single lane and collided with the rear of a 2020 Hiro box truck.
No injuries were reported immediately following the incident.
