Single vehicle crashes on FM 511

BROWNSVILLE, TX – A truck crashed on Monday evening while the driver was weaving between lanes on FM 511.

My Accident reports that a 41-year-old man in white 2013 Ford crashed his car while driving on FM 511 near Highway 550. This single-vehicle accident occurred at 5:32 p.m. on May 4. At this time, there is no information about what the truck crashed into.

A Brownsville police officer on the scene stated that the driver failed to stay in a single lane on the road, which caused the truck to crash. The officer did not explain why the car was weaving.

The Ford’s driver was not injured in the accident. However, the truck sustained severe damage to the front-right portion of the car. A tow truck had to remove the Ford from the scene of the accident.
