Speeding Accident on South Jackson Road

EDINBURG, TX – A 19-year-old man driving a gray 1999 Chevrolet crashed into a 47-year-old driver in a black 2013 Volkswagen last Saturday evening.

The incident occurred at 8:25 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, near the intersection of South Jackson Road and Alberta Road.

An officer from the Edinburg Police Department stated that the 19-year-old was speeding at the time of the accident, and police believe that he is responsible for the crash. Neither driver was injured in the accident. However, the front bumper of the Chevrolet and the back bumper of the Volkswagen sustained damage from the force of the impact.
