Speeding Driver Causes Fender-Bender in Brownsville

BROWNSVILLE, TX — A speeding driver in Brownsville crashed into the rear bumper of another driver on Thursday.

According to police reports, the driver of a white 2019 Volkswagen failed to control their speed on East 14th Street in Brownsville. The posted speed limit was 35 mph and weather conditions were clear at the time of the incident. The speeding driver made contact with the rear end of a white 2019 Toyota.

Police reported no injuries as a result of the accident. Both drivers were the sole occupants of their vehicles. Additionally, both drivers wore seatbelts at the time of the incident.
