Suspected DWI collision reported on Chicago Ave.

MCALLEN, TX – Police in McAllen responded to a two-vehicle collision involving a suspected intoxicated driver early Sunday morning.

The incident occurred at about 3:15 p.m. within the 1500 block of Chicago Avenue near the intersection with South 16th Street.

Investigators believe the 25-year-old female driver of a 2019 Hyundai was under the influence of alcohol when she collided with a 2014 BMW.

No injuries were reported as an immediate result of the crash.
