DONNA, TX – A man was injured as the result of a suspected DWI crash involving two vehicles in Donna last week.

The accident occurred on June 11th at about 5:46 p.m. along I-2, near the Val Verde Road overpass.

Responding officers believe the 38-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2012 Volkswagen was under the influence of drugs and alcohol when his vehicle collided with a 2001 Ford.

The man responsible for the crash suffered unknown injuries. The 54-year-old man in the Ford was unhurt.

Both vehicles sustained significant damage and were towed from the scene.
