Teen injured after distracted driving accident in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Distracted driving may be to blame for a multi-vehicle injury crash in San Antonio earlier this week.

The collision occurred on April 26th shortly after 8:40 p.m. along Huebner Road, at the intersection with Bitters Road.

Officers with the San Antonio Police Department say the 19-year-old driver of a 2015 Jeep was using his cell phone as he ran through a stop signal and collided head-on with a 2020 Toyota.

Both occupants in the Jeep were uninjured. However, the 18-year-old man in the Toyota sustained minor injuries as a result of Monday’s San Antonio car accident.
