Teen struck, injured while walking home after breakdown

SAN ANTONIO, TX – An 18-year-old woman suffered serious injuries after being hit by a car on in South San Antonio last week, News4SA reports.

The victim was driving with another woman when their car broke down. They abandoned the car and began walking along Southton Road when a northbound driver struck one of them. She was taken to University Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The other woman was uninjured.

Police are considering this an accident and have not charged the driver.
