SAN ANTONIO, TX – Officers with the San Antonio Police Department were forced to block a portion of Loop 1604 following a Friday afternoon collision.
According to Total Traffic San Antonio, the accident occurred shortly after 2:30 p.m. within the westbound lanes of the freeway just before Culebra Road.

The cause of the crash is unclear at this time. However, this situation is still developing. Police are urging motorists to proceed with extreme caution as poor road conditions persist in the area.
