Two injured in collision with utility pole in Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — Two people were injured when a driver struck several vehicles and a utility pole in a crash in Corpus Christi on Monday morning. The accident occurred along the SPID near Nile Drive. According to KRIS, a driver was going along SPID when he suddenly left the highway, hit a barrier and a parked car, and collided with a utility pole.

The driver had to be removed from his vehicle by first responders from the Corpus Christi Fire Department. Police have not provided any further information about the condition of those injured or the cause of the accident.
