Two injured, including 1-year-old child, in Brownsville crash

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Two people, including a 1-year-old boy were injured as the result of an accident on International Boulevard last Friday afternoon.

The collision occurred within the 4400 block of State Highway 4 near the intersection with Boca Chica Boulevard at about 2:07 p.m.

Investigators at the scene say the 35-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2014 Fort attempted to pass a 2007 Ford on the shoulder of the road when he collided with the front passenger side of the other vehicle.

Both occupants in the 2007 Ford, a 36-year-old woman and a 1-year-old boy, were injured in the crash. Details regarding the extent of their injuries remain unknown at this time.
