Two-vehicle collision reported on Sugar Rd.

PHARR, TX – Emergency crews in Pharr responded to a multi-vehicle crash on North Sugar Road during Tuesday morning’s rush-hour traffic.

The incident was reported shortly after 8 a.m. within the 100 block of Sugar Rd. near the intersection with West Polk Avenue.

Police believe the 59-year-old woman behind the wheel of a 2014 Chevrolet disregarded the turn markings at the intersection and collided with the driver’s side rear of a 2019 Hyundai.

Neither the woman responsible nor the three occupants in the Hyundai were injured as a direct result of the collision.
