Two vehicles receive damage in two car collision near McAllen

MCALLEN, TX — Two vehicles received heavy damage after a two car collision in Donna on Saturday.

According to police, the accident took place around seven in the morning near the intersection of North 6th street and East Roberts avenue. The driver of a 2014 white Chevrolet failed to yield at a posted yield sign. As a result the driver collided with a 2010 blue BMW. Both vehicles received damage to their front ends. Police report that it was raining at the time of the accident.

None of the drivers or passengers involved in the accident reported injuries to police. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Police found the driver of the Chevrolet at fault for the accident.
