MCALLEN, TX – A man has been arrested in connection with the fatal motorcycle collision on the 1500 block of S 10th St Tuesday, according to KRGV.
Joel Bello Galindo, 28, was driving an SUV when he collided with a motorcycle ridden by Oscar Fernando Hernandez Alba, 28, at 7:23 a.m.
The impact ejected Alba off the motorcycle and into a pole.
Rescue crews transported Alba to an area hospital, where he died.
Authorities charged Galindo with criminal negligent homicide. He is in jail and held on a $75,000 bond.
