UPDATE: Driver charged for fatal Mission car crash

MCALLEN, TX – According to KRGV, a driver has been charged for their role in a fatal car crash that took place in Mission on Sunday.

The accident took place at around 7 p.m. near the intersection of Shary Road and 2 Mile Line Road. The accident was caused by the driver of a red car running a red light.

That driver has now been charged with intoxication manslaughter and will face the charge once he is released from the hospital.
