SAN ANTONIO, TX – According to Fox San Antonio, the driver who was trapped in his car following a crash on Loop 410 at the exit to Poteet Jourdanton Freeway is believed to have been racing before the crash.
The accident took place around 11:30 p.m. on Monday. Witnesses say that they saw the vehicle racing before it crashed.
Firefighters used the jaws of life to free the driver from the car after he crashed into a pole. The driver remains in critical condition at a local hospital.
The driver is facing felony charges after police found a gun and marijuana in his car.
