Update: driver who caused fatal crash confirmed intoxicated by police

SAN ANTONIO, TX — Police have found that a driver involved in a fatal crash was intoxicated at the time of the accident.

According to NEWS4SA, the accident originally took place around seven in the evening on Tuesday. The crash occurred at Lockhill Selma and Loop 1604 in San Antonio. The driver crashed into a wall after experiencing a suspected road rage incident. The collision killed one of the passengers and injured another.

The driver of the vehicle involved is now believed to have been intoxicated at the time of the incident. The driver at fault is now facing charges of intoxication manslaughter and assault.
