Update: Police identify man killed in accident in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX — Police have identified the man killed in a pedestrian accident on Feb 26th in San Antonio. The crash occurred at around 7:30 p.m. on Highway 281 near Wurzbach Parkway in San Antonio. According to KSAT, the driver failed to observe 63-year-old David Allan Rose crossing the street while he was making a lane change. The victim was hit while crossing the street and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police report that the driver “showed no signs of intoxication” and stopped in an attempt to provide aid to Rose, to no avail.
