Update: Victim identified in fatal San Antonio motorcycle crash

SAN ANTONIO, TX – The identity of the man killed in a previously reported motorcycle accident on Monday has been released by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office, KSAT reports.

The accident occurred in the early afternoon hours within the 1700 block of South General McMullen Drive, near Darby Boulevard.

Police say 53-year-old Jerry Alfaro was traveling south when his motorcycle was struck by a black SUV. The bike then skidded nearly 100 yards as the driver of the SUV made a turn and fled the scene of the crash.

Alfar was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.  The identity of the other driver involved remains unknown at this time.
