UPDATE: Victim in drunk driving accident on Interstate 37 identified

SAN ANTONIO, TX – The victim in a fatal drunk driving crash on I-37 has been identified as 21-year-old Christopher Faris, according to KSAT.

Faris was driving his pickup truck when he was hit by cardiologist Hector Osorio on I-37 last Wednesday. Authorities say Osorio was driving while intoxicated and traveling in the wrong direction on the freeway.

Osorio has been charged with intoxication manslaughter.
