HARLINGEN, TX – Harlingen Police have released the identity of the man killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Sunday morning.
According to KURV, 33-year-old Roel Martinez was traveling through the intersection of East Harrison Avenue and 6th Street when his Buck was struck by a Chevrolet.
Martinez and his 10-year-old son sustained fatal injuries in the crash. His wife was rushed to the hospital in unknown condition.
The driver of the Chevrolet was also hospitalized.
Investigators are working to establish the official cause of the crash at this time.
