Utility Pole Broken in Half Following Car Accident Caused by Brake Failure

SAN ANTONIO, TX – According to Fox San Antonio, a brake malfunction caused a car to crash into a utility pole at the intersection of S. New Braunfels Avenue and Monticello Court.

The accident took place this morning at around 3:30 a.m. The car’s driver says that his brakes would not work, causing him to hit the pole. The crash downed the utility pole but no power outages were reported.

The driver was uninjured in the crash. Police are still investigating this accident, if more information is released, then this story will be updated.
