EDINBURG, TX – Investigators are looking into the cause of a collision that took the life of a man from the Valley early Saturday morning.
According to KURV, the crash occurred along Mile 19 Road as 38-year-old Gabriel Tijerina lost control of his Chevrolet Colorado and struck a mound of dirt at a high rate of speed.
Tijerina’s vehicle then struck a tree and overturned, ejecting him in the process. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in Saturday’s fatal Edinburg car accident.
