DUVAL CO., TX – The Texas Department of Public Safety has released the identity of the man killed in a Duval County crash early Monday morning.
According to KIII, the accident occurred at about 8:45 a.m. when 65-year-old Roberto Villarreal-Perez lost control of his vehicle while traveling west on FM-2295.
Villarreal-Perez’s Ford F-150 skidded off the roadway and overturned several times before striking a game fence and coming to rest at the bottom of a pit. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was ejected as a result.
Villarreal-Perez was pronounced dead at the scene. No other individuals were injured in the crash.
