Victims identified in fatal Bexar County collision

SAN ANTONIO, TX – The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has released the identity of the two women who died as the result of a Wednesday morning collision on Loop 1604.

According to KSAT, the accident occurred along Loop 1504 near the intersection with Benton City Road near I-35.

Police say 28-year-old Christine Badillo and 30-year-old Yvette Jimenez were traveling at a high rate of speed on the highway when the driver lost control of their vehicle and swerved into oncoming traffic where they were struck again.

Both women were pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.

No information regarding others involved in the crash has been released at this time.
