Victims identified in wrong-way crash on Harbor Bridge

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX. –  Authorities have identified the two victims who were killed in a wrong-way accident on Harbor Bridge on Saturday morning. According to the Caller-Times, the Nueces County Medical Examiner’s Office released the names of the victims this morning. They were identified as 45-year-old Ricardo Zuniga and 38-year-old Amy Hinojosa.

The crash occurred around 2:05 a.m. on Saturday. Corpus Christi police believe that Hinojosa was traveling southbound on the bridge when she was hit head-on by a pickup driven by Zuniga, who was heading the wrong direction. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident is still under investigation and no further details have been released at this time.
