Wanted man struck by U.S. Marshal’s vehicle while attempting to flee

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – A suspect is recovering in the hospital after being hit by a U.S. Marshal patrol car while attempting to flee after being served a warrant Tuesday night.

According to KIITV, the accident occurred when Marshals arrived at a hotel near the intersection of Oak Hurst Drive and Flynn Parkway.

When the man noticed officials in the parking lot, he attempted to flee on foot and was chased down and struck by a Marshal’s car.

The suspect was transported to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
