West Side fire destroys travel trailer

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Officials with the San Antonio Fire Department responded to an early morning fire west of downtown early Monday morning.

According to KSAT, the fire was reported at about 7:40 .m. within the 600 block of North San Eduardo Avenue near the intersection with Culebra Road.

Officials say two people were in the trailer at the time of the fire. Both the man and woman were able to escape without serious injuries. The man suffered from smoke inhalation but was treated by paramedics at the scene.

No details regarding the cause of the fire have been released at this time.
