PHARR, TX – A 22-year-old woman died in Pharr on Sunday evening following an ATV crash, local news reports.
The accident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday evening. The victim was a passenger on am all-terrain vehicle driven by a 22-year-old man. They were traveling along the bank of a canal just north of E. Las Milpas Road when the driver lost control of the ATV.
Both riders were thrown down the canal bank. The driver suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene while the passenger was fatally injured.
