Woman dead after crash in Robstown

ROBSTOWN, TX – A 42-year-old woman is dead following a two-vehicle collision near Robstown on Wednesday, KIII TV reports.

The accident happened at the intersection of FM 24 and County Road 44 around 5:50 p.m. A Chevy Malibu failed to yield the right of way to a Ford F-150, causing the truck to hit the driver’s side of the Malibu.

The Malibu’s driver was taken to CHRISTUS Spohn Shoreline Hospital where she passed away. Both passengers in her vehicle were also hospitalized. The occupants of the F-150 were not seriously injured and were released at the scene.
