SAN ANTONIO, TX – A woman was struck and killed while crossing a busy street in south San Antonio Tuesday night.
According to KENS, the accident occurred shortly after 9:30 p.m. within the 2000 block of W.W. White Road, near the intersection with Rigsby Avenue.
Upon arrival, police discovered an unidentified woman lying unconscious in the roadway. She was immediately taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center but died in transport.
The river involved in the crash remained at the scene. No charges are expected to be filed against that individual at this time.
