SAN ANTONIO, TX – Emergency crews had to cut a woman out of her vehicle after it rolled off the freeway in Northwest San Antonio Wednesday morning.
According to KSAT, the accident was reported at about 12:30 a.m. on Loop 1604 near the exit to I-10.
Officers believe the driver of an SUV, a woman in her 20s lost control of the vehicle and rolled it several times before it came to rest on the side of the roadway.
The woman was extricated from her vehicle and taken to University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators believe intoxication played a role in the crash. It is unclear at this time whether the woman will face any criminal charges.
