Woman hurt after Dodge rear-ends Pontiac in Brownsville

BROWNSVILLE, TX – A woman was reportedly injured as the result of a rear-end collision near I-69E early last week.

The accident happened on April 20th shortly after 2:30 p.m. within the 1800 block of East 13th Street, just before the interstate frontage road.

Officers with the Brownsville Police Department believe the 60-year-old man behind the wheel of a 1990 Dodge was speeding when his vehicle collided with the rear of a 2009 Pontiac.

The driver in the Pontiac, a 44-year-old woman, sustained unknown injuries in Tuesday’s Brownsville car accident. No other injuries were reported as a result.
