Woman identified in fatal Northwest Side crash

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the woman killed following a single-vehicle crash last Friday night.

According to KSAT, the accident took place along I-10 near the exit to Casa Bella and UTSA Boulevard.

Police believe 36-year-old Carisa Allen Kohutek lost control of her vehicle for unknown reasons and crashed into a roadside ditch. She was pronounced dead at the scene from blunt force head trauma.

Kohutek was a history and geography teacher at Brandeis High School for almost seven years.
