Woman injured after multi-vehicle crash near downtown Brownsville

BROWNSVILLE, TX – A woman was reportedly injured as the result of a multi-vehicle collision in downtown Brownsville last weekend.

The accident took place at about `10:16 a.m. along East Elizabeth Street, near the intersection with East 8th Street.

Police say the driver of a 1994 Ford, a 60-year-old man, drove through the stoplight and collided with the rear driver’s side of a 2021 Honda.

The man in the at-fault vehicle was unhurt. However, a 49-year-old female passenger in the Honda sustained unknown injuries as a result of Saturday’s Brownsville car accident.
