CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Officials with the Corpus Christi Police Department have reported an injury resulting from a rear-end collision on Ocean Drive Tuesday afternoon.
The crash occurred at about 12:46 p.m. on Ocean Boulevard just outside the CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi. Police believe the 73-year-old female driver of a 2003 Toyota followed a 2018 Volkswagen too closely and collided with the rear of the second vehicle.
The woman was hurt as a result of the crash. However, the severity of her injuries remains unknown as of Thursday.
