Woman injured following head-on collision in Brownsville

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Police in Brownsville reported at least one injury resulting from a head-on collision last Tuesday morning.

The accident occurred shortly before noon within the 3500 block of Old Highway 77 at the intersection with Charlie Clark Drive.

Investigators believe the 20-year-old male driver of a 1998 Ford failed to yield the right of way to a 2006 Hyundai causing the two vehicles to collide head-on.

The man responsible for Tuesday’s Brownsville car accident was uninjured. However, the 35-year-old woman in the Hyundai was hurt. The extent of her injuries is unclear at this time.
